Note to consulting firms: You only need an EULA license if you develop custom software for your customers' intranets, or if you develop custom software that is publicly available for free. If your customers then make your custom software publicly available and charge other users, you must purchase an EULA license, and your customers must purchase an OEM license. If you create software and sell it "as-is" to several customers, you must purchase an OEM license.

An end-user license (EULA) is valid if:- Your software is developed for your own business and is deployed within your intranet
- Your software is publicly available for free
- Runtime free
- Access to source code for learning and easier application debugging
- Free access to all patches and minor releases
- Free answers to technical questions

An OEM license is required when your software is a commercial product, a SaaS, a Web page, or a Web service for which users pay usage fees (per license, per use, etc). The OEM license is twofold.
1. An OEM license is $799.00 per developer with the following feature and benefits:
- Access to source code for learning, easier application debugging and source code modification for bug fixing purpose only
- Free access to all patches and minor releases
- Free answers to technical questions
