Gantt charts display how tasks and resources are allocated over time. They are integral to the user interfaces of planning and scheduling applications.

ILOG Elixir’s Gantt Charts contains a ready-to-use resource Gantt chart to display when tasks are assigned and which resources (people or machines) will be used for those tasks. This ready-to-use component is comprised of a hierarchical data grid to represent resources, a sophisticated timeline, a working-times grid and fully customizable task bars. Users can control the time span and the set of resources to display; and they can edit the task bars if they wish.
