ILOG Named as One of Start-It's 2008 Hottest Companies Among Other Award Wins

ILOG Also Recognized as Top Logistics Provider by Both Inbound Logistics and Food Logistics, Awarded for Product Innovation by Manufacturing Business Technology as well as Selected as a Top 100 Great Supply Chain Partner by Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies

SUNNYVALE, Calif. and PARIS – July 2, 2008 ILOG® (NASDAQ: ILOG; Euronext: ILO, ISIN: FR0004042364) today announced that ILOG has been acknowledged for leadership in supply chain by winning top supply chain honors and awards this year. Additionally, START-IT named ILOG as one of the ‘Hottest Companies of 2008’. Inbound Logistics and Food Logistics, respectively, recognized ILOG as a top logistics technology provider, Manufacturing Business Technology (MBT) awarded ILOG for IT-based innovation in both the manufacturing and supply chain industries and Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies as a top 100 Great Supply Chain Partner.

“The companies that have been named ‘hot’ this year are among the leading-edge technology providers within manufacturing,” said Peggy Smedley, editorial director of START-IT. “These innovative companies are driving manufacturing solutions into the next generation. As the manufacturing industry evolves, so must the technology companies that provide solutions to advanced manufacturers. The 25 winning companies this year are having a great impact on the manufacturing space as they strive to provide the most complete, innovative technology possible to their customers.”

START-IT recognized ILOG as one of 2008's Hottest Companies. The annual Hottest Companies Awards honor software and technology providers that have developed innovative applications or products targeted at the manufacturing industry. Winning companies are judged on a variety of criteria, including revenue growth, important client wins, as well as significant events and accomplishments during the past year.

Top Logistics Provider
Every year, Inbound Logistics recognizes 100 logistics IT companies that support and enable logistics excellence. Inbound Logistics’ editors selected this year's list from more than 300 companies through a comprehensive process of evaluating questionnaires, conducting research and soliciting reader feedback. ILOG was selected because the company’s solutions reflect leadership and address industry needs for simplicity, return on investment (ROI) and efficient implementation.

“Solution providers such as ILOG empower logistics and supply chain management, continuing to offer innovative and practical solutions in the face of fast-changing challenges,” said Felecia Stratton, editor of Inbound Logistics. “During 2008, ILOG consistently provided the kinds of technology solutions Inbound Logistics’ readers need to successfully manage their global enterprises. As shippers, carriers and third-party logistics (3PLs) providers increase their use of logistics IT, ILOG continues to be flexible and responsive, anticipating customers' evolving needs. That's why Inbound Logistics’ editors have recognized ILOG as one of 2008's Top 100 Logistics IT providers.”

Food Logistics identified ILOG as a top 100 technology and solution provider to the food industry. The Food Logistics 100 (FL100) is a resource of software, hardware and IT services providers that focus on the unique needs of companies in the food supply chain, which include manufacturers, retailers, grocery wholesalers, convenience and foodservice distributors, as well as 3PLs. Winning companies of the FL100 are selected based on their proven track record and expertise in providing food companies with technology and services to help them meet business objectives.

Additionally, ILOG received Manufacturing Business Technology’s Innovation Insight Award in the product innovation category for ILOG’s LogicNet Plus® 6.0 XE’s Carbon Footprint Extension, which contributes to manufacturing and supply chain productivity gains. ILOG’s solution was selected on its ability to help enterprises evaluate cost and environmental impacts when designing their supply chain networks, especially when faced with increased regulatory and governmental pressures to reduce their carbon footprints. Acknowledging instances of IT-based innovation, the MBT Innovation Insight Awards are given to technology leaders in both the manufacturing and supply chain industries.

Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies (GL&SCS) also selected ILOG to the 2008 list of GL&SCS 100 Great Supply Chain Partners, the second time ILOG has been included since 2007. The list is the result of a six-month poll in which editors asked senior-level logistics and supply chain professionals to nominate organizations whose technology, logistics, transportation or consulting solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance.

“In 2008, we received more than 1,400 nominations from small and large companies representing scores of different industries on five continents,” said Brad Berger, publisher of Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies. “More than 400 vendors of every conceivable type of supply chain activity were nominated - from very specialized technologies, to third-party logistics providers to highly specialized transportation services. The 100 companies that received the most qualified nominations were selected for this year’s list. Congratulations goes to ILOG for being selected a 2008 GL&SCS “Great Supply Chain Partner.”
